Our Certificate of Deposit Placement Service is especially tailored to businesses and institutional clients. Searching for CDs, making phone calls to figure out how to place the CD, tracking down lost interest or paperwork are the last things you need to worry about. Those are the things we worry about for you.

The Business CD rates below are through our Custodial CD program. Our Custodial CD program has no placement fees. We are paid by the custodian bank.

Easy Processing

Typically placing CDs is fairly easy. For clients such as credit unions, banks, and public entities, most banks just need a signed set-up letter, copy of the board resolution, and a W9 faxed prior to the funds being wired. Most of the banks we work with have given us pre-approval to accept deposits, so you don’t have to wait for a return phone call prior to completing the CD.

CDs for corporate clients and associations are a little more difficult only because the banks need to verify the identity of the signers. This means they usually require a copy of each signer’s driver’s license and social security number. However, because of our banking relationships, you still don’t usually have to wait very long to get your CD completed.

Finding Rates

We have found that finding the banks is the most time consuming process. Sites like bankrate.com mainly serve retail investors. Most institutional investors find themselves spinning their wheels trying to get those banks to take their deposits. We’ve done the work. We have a list of banks that are ready to serve you.
